Once you have completed student teaching, the next step is to find a job. Finding a job may be difficult or easy for both teachers who are blind as well as those who are sighted—depending on the current job market; however, teachers who are blind or visually impaired need to make extra preparations before applying for jobs, and may have to consider some issues that teachers who are sighted do not.
