How to use Access Keys in your Browser

Browser What to do
Internet Explorer 5 + Hold down the ALT key, press the access key, release both keys, then press ENTER
Firefox, Mozilla Hold down the ALT + SHIFT keys and press the access key
Safari 3 Mac Hold down the CTRL key and press the access key
Safari 4 Mac Hold down the CTRL + OPTION keys and press the access key
Safari 3 and 4 Windows Hold down the ALT key and press the access key
Opera Press SHIFT + ESC to enter access-key mode, and a list of the available access keys will be displayed. You can then press the appropriate access key to activate the link or form input. To exit access-key mode, press SHIFT + ESC again.

Controlling Font Size and Screen Magnification on Browsers.

Your browser has specific controls for increasing font size and Screen magnification. These are two separate things.

Font-size increases fonts, but does not change the width of the website.

Screen Magnification increases both the height and width of the screen.

increase screen size: Hold Ctrl Key and (+)

Decrease screen size: Ctrl Key and (-)

Make sure under the View Menu > Zoom > Zoom Text only is unchecked.

Magnify Screen: Hold Ctrl Key and (+)

Demagnify Screen: Ctrl Key and (-)

Font Size Controls or Text size Use the drop down menu to choose Text Size.

Make sure under the View Menu > Zoom > Zoom Text only is checked.

Increase text size: Hold Ctrl Key and (+)

Decrease text size: Ctrl Key and (-)
